The NHL has its fair share of problems, but one of its biggest is consistency with goaltender interference rulings. This was on full display last night in the New Jersey Devils 4-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins when Jake Guentzel’s tied the game at 4:04 of the third period. The New Jersey Devils are most likely ecstatic going into today’s game.
What just happened? The New Jersey Devils just ended their winless streak by absolutely giving the Penguins the business in a 5-1 beat down to claim their first road victory of the season. This also is the first game of the season New Jersey has chased an opposing goalie from their net. Sami Vatanen should

Matchup Overview Coming off of a poor effort in Detroit, New Jersey will look to right the ship against the New York Islanders. After a strong start, the Devils have fallen into a rut and now sit at a 5-4-1 record, which puts them near the bottom of the Metropolitan Division. The Islanders, however, sit
