Silly as it sounds, thinking of hockey got me thinking of my game day rituals, which got me thinking about my favorite food and treats inside the Prudential Center. It also reminded me of some of the great places that surround The Rock that my friends and I would meet prior to or after games and hang out.
On game days, it’s hard for me to resist the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, which comes with fresh, home made chips, cole slaw and a pickle. It’s my absolute favorite thing to treat myself to at Prudential Center. As for places to hang out, I’ve occasionally met friends at the Edison Ale House, located just behind Championship Plaza. The last time I was there, I enjoyed a plate of their Chili Cheese Fries, which I definitely recommend sharing with a friend! The portion was gigantic (and delicious).
To spice things up and show the great variety surrounding our home arena, I asked my fellow Generals to share their favorite treats and meeting places, too. I’ve learned about a few new places from them that I think I have to go visit. This is what they had to say:

This week, we take a look at the Devils between March 24 and March 30, a week that saw the Devils walked away with 3 points (0-0-3), but could have done much better. The Devils surrendered a two-goal lead twice against the Lightning on Friday night (with Tampa Bay tying the game with 15 seconds left) and a 1-goal lead twice to the Panthers (with Florida tying the game with 27 seconds left). While the Devils are happy to take the points, it would have been nice to get a bigger gap between themselves and 8th place. But that’s not what we’re here to talk about…let’s look at some stats!

Stars of the game:
1: Giroux (Goals: 0, Assists: 0)
2. Talbot (Goals: 1, Assits:0)
3. Clarkson (Goals: 1, Assits: 0)
It was a game that started with quite a bit of hype. Moose was starting in his 11th straight game, and was on a high after stopping 46 of 50 shots along with a two game win streak while Bryzgalov, the Flyers goalie, was quoted as saying that the Flyers wouldn’t make the playoffs if they didn’t win tonight’s game. After the Devils gave the Flyers a 5-2 smack down in New Jersey on Wednesday, the Devils Army believed that his fear would become reality. Yet in the end, it was the Devils who snapped a two game win streak and left the City of Brotherly Love with just one point.
