Interested in Joining Devils Army Blog?

We here at Devils Army Blog are looking to add new members to our team. We’re looking for 2-3 new writers to contribute regularly, 3-4 new in-game updaters on our social media platforms, as well as someone to manage our Instagram. Here’s are more details for each position.

What We’re Looking For (Writers):

  • Previous writing experience is preferred (but not required)
  • Able to produce 2-3 articles per week; original content and game previews/recaps. 
  • Must be able to work with an organized and team-oriented writing staff.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn advanced stats would be a plus.

  • Include a brief introduction of yourself, how you became a Devils fan, why you’d like to write for us, and a bit about any previous writing experience you may have.
  • All applicants MUST include a hockey-related writing sample of at least 400 words. 
  • Position is on a volunteer basis and does not include pay. 

What We’re Looking For (Updaters, Instagram): 

  • Live updates for every New Jersey Devils game on Facebook and Twitter (via Hootsuite).
  • Updaters will have access to Instagram for the following:
    • If you attend games, take pictures and post them.
    • The ability to post stories.
    • Showing off Devils gear you own.
    • Anything else that’s appropriate and related to the Devils.
