Here we are, Game 6 of this series and the Devils are down 3-2. This is a game of necessities for New Jersey as there is NO tomorrow should they lose tonight. So with that said, the Devils NEED to do everything in their power to win this game. They need to skate hard, crash the net and they need to put the “biscuit in the basket”.
Our offense MUST step up for this game. This is the farthest Ilya Kovalchuk has ever made it in the playoffs and for that, we need some offense from him. We need more from Zach Parise and Patrik Elias, even David Clarkson. We just need more goals from everyone in a Devils uniform.
While no one wants to think about it, this could potentially be the last game in a Devils jersey for Zach Parise and Martin Brodeur. I’m not sure about you, but I know I’m not ready for that! So, let’s do this Devils. Let’s win this game and force a Game 7! I haven’t stopped believing and neither should you!
ONE SHIFT AT A TIME, ONE PERIOD AT TIME, and ONE GAME AT TIME… LET’S DO THIS DEVILS!!
